Requesting Library Items: Interlibrary Loan: Will I be notified if Interlibrary Loan cannot obtain a book for me?

Will I be notified if Interlibrary Loan cannot obtain a book for me?

Yes.  As soon as we determine that a book, article, or dissertation cannot be provided, we will notify you and try to suggest other options for obtaining the material.  Sometimes a book or article can be provided, but the lender will charge for it; you will be notified before we request the item, if that is the case.
