You may also request the library to purchase your required texts as ebooks.

  • Not all textbooks are available as ebooks, but many newer titles are. Some digital books can be used by several students at the same time. Many of our purchased ebooks allow readers to save and print sections. Encourage your students to do this, so that more students can access a single ebook. If there is an ebook that you want to use for your class, contact fill out this form.

If there is a resource you cannot locate in the catalog or databases, please feel free to request it through our interlibrary loan form. This is a free service for all faculty and students!

Updating Course Content

If you are looking to update your course content, consider using ebook OER alternatives for required physical textbooks. These resources:

  • improve student retention/course satisfaction
  • published by credible authors, embed in Blackboard, accessible 1st day of class
  • free or at reduced costs
  • Go here for OER evidential success
  • Locate ebook and article permalinks in the library resources for Blackboard, instead of Google-found URLs
