What are OERs?
Open Educational Resources (OER), like ebooks and lesson plans, are teaching, learning and research materials in any medium – digital or otherwise – that reside in the public domain or have been released under an open license that permits:
- increase student retention and satisfaction
- no-cost access
- no copyright restrictions
- credible authors and quality resources
- use anytime--embed directly into Blackboard
- adapt to your lesson plans
- share with others freely
