Welcome to the Collegial Cloud, an online resource for Concordia University Chicago (CUC) doctoral students, candidates, and faculty. At this website you will find the information and resources needed to complete the dissertation.
On this page you will find two documents pertaining to doctoral programs: College of Business’ Doctoral Guidebook and Doctoral Program Overview for the students in the other colleges. Select the appropriate guide and read the content carefully, as each document provides a basic, fundamental description of doctoral study processes and benchmark accomplishments at CUC.
After having read the overview, familiarize yourself with the different tabs on the Collegial Cloud. Notice that tabs correspond with each milestone of the dissertation process: 1) comprehensive exam and dissertation prospectus (for EdD and PhD students only); 2) dissertation proposal; and 3) dissertation.
PLEASE NOTE: Having your final dissertation edited by a professional copy editor is an end-of-program requirement and not negotiable. As with all other course materials (books, etc.), CUC does not cover the cost of the editor. Please plan ahead.
To ensure a seamless doctoral experience, it is essential to meet the technology requirements for the program.
Please do not rely only on a Chromebook, tablet, or cell phone for Blackboard use. Not all features will work on these devices.
If you are using any of these devices, please be sure you also have access to a Mac or Windows computer for features in classes that may not work on other devices.
For uniformity across all coursework, we adhere to the system and network guidelines as detailed in the following linked article: Blackboard System and Network Requirements.
