WELCOME TO THE CUC LIBRARY!

Picture of the Klinck Memorial Library

The Klinck Memorial Library collaborates with the CUC community to provide exceptional service and meaningful research.

Main Level

  • The main level of the library includes: the circulation desk, reference support, the Trailblazer Library Center with curated materials for first-generation students, study table check-in station for athletes, and the Lib Café.
  • Professional librarian research services are available in-person, by phone, email, or Teams every day of the week during the Fall and Spring semesters. Summer semester hours are Monday-Friday.
  • The LibCafé is located just outside of the library entrance. Yes, food and drinks are allowed in the library.

Lower Level

  • The lower level of the library includes: an instructional classroom, the University Archives, private study carrels, two group study rooms (first come first serve), and the Cougar Cavern, a space designated for student clubs to meet anytime the library is open.

Upper Level

The library is a growing organism where students have access to millions of digital resources including eBooks, databases and streaming videos anywhere on and off campus. With three floors of quiet research spaces for individual and group work, the library’s physical collection contains thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, and hard copy journals.

In addition to providing graduate research workshops each semester and personalized one-on-one research appointments for all students, the Library team is proactive in supporting the curriculum with live instruction sessions for research-based online and in-person classes.

Furthermore, the Library updates the eTextbook Initiative every semester, facilitating the purchase of as many unlimited user ebooks as fiscally possible for required textbooks. This helps to decrease student college costs and increase student retention and satisfaction scores for the undergraduate and graduate students alike.

There are several computer stations throughout the library with wi-fi and printing availability.

  • The library PCs allow all students and faculty to access SPSS
  • The library Macs allow all students and faculty to access SPSS and Adobe products: Photoshop, Illustrator, InCopy, InDesign, Dreamweaver, Premier Pro, Lightroom and AfterEffects
